Sign up to volunteer at Newstead Abbey
Newstead Abbey is hosting a volunteer recruitment day on Sunday as it looks for more helpers to enable it to keep up its weekend opening hours.
The event will run from 12-3pm and will give people the chance to meet staff and volunteers, have a guided tour of the house and gardens and sign up to volunteer in the area they are interested in.
Volunteer roles range from meeting and greeting, to supporting with events and activities, to helping with the upkeep of the gardens.
No experience is necessary and travel expenses are offered to volunteers.
