A Mansfield shopfitters firm has celebrated a hometown milestone after finishing its 200th job for a major coffee chain at a nearby retail park.
Jephsons Shopfitters hit a double century for Costa Coffee with the outlet at St Peter’s Retail Park, which opened on Friday, September 8.
Project manager Mark Betteley said: “We handed the café over snag-free and the Costa manager said it was one of the smoothest handovers he’d ever been involved with.
“We had a team of two joiners on the project and I have to say the quality and end result is possibly the best I’ve seen.”
A specialist in interior fit-out services for the food retail and hospitality sector, Jephsons has been working with Costa since 2010.
The St Peter’s café sports Costa’s new Janus style design with a duck egg blue finish to the serving counter, light fittings and some of the seating, and an outdoor seating area.
Costa manager Jordan Waites said: “We have had lots of comments from customers saying how much they like the bright, light and airy interior.”
Jephsons services customers all over the UK from its offices and workshops just off Hermitage Lane in Mansfield.
It has worked with big name brands such as KFC and Pizza Express for nearly 60 years with its.
Operations director Nigel Schofield said: “We believe in maintaining high standards for our clients, that’s why we are still in business and keeping globally recognised brand managers happy.
“With an ever increasing order book we are always on the lookout for experienced joiners and fitters to complement our existing team, so if you think you can match our standards, get in touch.”
