Shirebrook train abuse

BRITISH Transport Police (BTP) is seeking help from the public to help identify two women who verbally abused a train conductor at Shirebrook station.

The two females, who boarded the Nottingham to Worksop train in Mansfield at around 6.35pm on 3rd March, were confronted by the conductor after hiding in the toilets when he checked tickets.

One of the women refused to buy a valid ticket and verbally abused the man and he was given more verbal abuse when they were asked to leave the train.

The conductor was then physically threatened on the station platform and pushed in the back.

The first woman was white, aged 17-19, of stocky build and around 5ft 6-8. She had short, collar length black bobbed hair, dark eyes and a local accent.

The second woman was white, aged 17-19, with a pale complexion. She had shoulder length straight mousey brown hair, blue eyes and white long sleeved blouse top which had an embroidered horizontal stripe.
