Shirebrook pupils raise money to go on trip-of-a-lifetime to Africa
Five Shirebrook pupils are able to go on a once-in-a-lifetime trip after raising thousands of pounds.
Devon Evans, Alex Sunderland, Lorna Sykes, Megan Humphries and Katy Peake, all aged 14, will solo trek and build a playground in the south-west African desert.
The Year 9 Shirebrook Academy students will join forces with other pupils from across Bolsover to see them travel to Namibia next July.
