SHIREBROOK: Police appeal after man assaulted

Police in Shirebrook are appealing for witnesses after a man’s tooth was broken during an assault.

At around 5pm on Monday, January 6, a 32-year-old man was walking along Patchwork Row in the town when he got into an argument with another man.

The man allegedly punched the victim several times with the victim suffering a broken tooth, cuts and bruising to his face, a Derbyshire police spokesman said.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the assault and released on bail pending further inquiries.
