Shirebrook garage blaze

On Saturday afternoon (7th June), crews from Shirebrook and Bolsover were called to the fire on Vale Drive, Shirebrook.

The fire was in a derelict garage to the rear of Vale drive, which by the time the Fire Crew arrived at 4.16pm, was well ablaze.

Two pumps were in attendance in order to bring the fire under control.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus took more than an hour to bring the blaze under control.

No one was inside the garage at the time, and the house was unaffected by the blaze.
