Severn Trent is urging customers to cut out clutter and switch to paperless billing.

By signing up for a Severn Trent online account, customers can view water bills, set up Direct Debits and let the company know if they are moving home with a few simple clicks.

Severn Trent Water manager, Anthony Hickinbottom, said: “We know that keeping track of your water bill is something that shouldn’t take a lot of time. We’re encouraging our customers to spend a few moments setting up an online account on our website,, to have instant access to their bill and lots of other services.

“When you set up an online account, you’ll automatically go paperless – this helps to save on clutter because bills will be available online. Also, with our new mobile website you can find out how much your water bill is or tell us you’re moving home anywhere, anytime. It’s all about making things quicker and easier for our customers.”
