THREE community groups in Selston who work to improve the village have merged.
SARA (Selston Area Residents’ Association), Selston in Bloom and WISP (Working to Improve Selston Parish) will now all work together under the name SARA.
Selston councillor Gail Turner, who is also from SARA, said that one of the reasons behind the decision was to help the groups secure funding in the difficult economic climate.
And she added: “If we all get together we can do lots of different things.
“We are going to be fundraising for improvements in the village.”
