The roundabout, which connects Crown Farm way to Clipstone Road East, has displayed the sign since Sunday evening (July 8), expressing support for the England football team as they reached the World Cup semi final.

The phrase derives from the popular World Cup song ‘Three Lions’ by Frank Skinner and David Baddiel, which features the phrase ‘football’s coming home’.

The sign follows other levels of support for the national football team, who have reached the World Cup semi finals for the first time in 28 years.
