School set for improvement, says head

“Everything is in place and we have a full compliment of staff who work extremely hard.
“The projections for our Year 6 pupils’ Key Stage 2 SATS are really good. We will get a good in the next inspection, if not better.”
An area which was still of concern for the HMI inspector was the low-level work set for the more able.
Said Mr della-Spina: “We have that firmly in hand but the evidence will not be available until we get the SATS results in.
“But we have a plan in place and are working hard.”
