Adults will find plenty to enjoy as well, with an array of stalls selling everything from Christmas decorations and hand-made jewellery to mulled wine, hot chestnuts and gourmet coffee.

There will also be cake sales, tombolas and other fun provided by the many community organisations attending the event, including the Brownies, Scouts, Blidworth Oaks PTA, Cancer Research, Young Engineers, Cornwater Club and Rotary.

Music will be provided throughout the day, with eclectic folk music from the Ragged Rascals, well-known pieces from Blidworth Welfare’s Brass Band and carols from Blidworth Oaks’ School Choir.

The day will close with a Christmas Tree Lights Switch-On at the Welfare at 4.30pm.

Organised by Blidworth Community Association, with welcome support from PALS, the event promises to add sparkle and magic to the start of your Christmas celebrations.
