Same home in Hucknall hit twice by thieves within two days

The same home in Hucknall was raided twice by burglars in the space of two days.

In the first raid, two mountain bikes - a Scott 20 and a black Diamond Back - were stolen from an unlocked shed at the address on Montague Road, at around 1.45am on Saturday December 12.

In the second raid, an electrical scooter was stolen from the same address between 3am and 11pm on Monday December 14.

Between 10pm on Monday December 14 and 6.45am on Tuesday 15 in Belvoir Street, Hucknall, a shed and a lean to were broken into and a black and white Boardman Team Carbon road bike with white handlebars and ‘Bike Shepherd’ stickers around the pedals was stolen.

Cash was stolen from a gaming machine at The Bowman pub on Nottingham Road. Thieves broke in by forcing a door sometime between 11.30pm on Sunday December 13 and 6am the next day.

Cash was stolen from the Orange Tree Day Nursery, on The Connery, sometime between 5pm on Monday December 14 and 7.30am the next day. The burglars entered via an insecure window and searched the premises before stealing the cash.

Using tools found in the nursery, the thieves broke through a locked door but only found an empty storage room.
