Run for Sport Relief at Newstead

This weekend is Sport Relief and anyone wanting to take part and raise cash for the charity can do so at the historic Newstead Abbey.

The home of Romantic poet Lord Byron is hosting a Sport Relief Mile on Sunday - as well as a three-mile and six-mile charity race.

The courses will snake around the historic house and through scenic parkland, finishing in the beautiful gardens.

The first three-mile race and the six-mile race start at 10am, while a second three-mile race and the one-mile race will start at 11am. Entry fees are £6 for adults, £3 for children.
