Rufford Abbey Country Park reopens in time for Aurora Winter Illuminations

After storms battered the county yesterday causing trees to fall down and ripping tiles off houses, Rufford Abbey Country Park has reopened.

Nottinghamshire County Council closed the park for health and safety reasons but it was reopened today in time for the Aurora Winter Illuminations.

The opening evening will go ahead as planned tonight the county council said.
