Rotary Club of Sherwood Forest host charity open day

GREEN-FINGERED locals can have a peek at some of the most beautiful gardens in Ollerton when they are opened to the public in aid of charity on Sunday.

It is the third year the Rotary Club of Sherwood Forest has organised the Ollerton Open Gardens event and there are nine participating venues.

Some of the gardeners are offering home-made cakes and other refreshments, while live music will be available at some of the other venues.

The event takes place from 1-5pm and admission is possible with a £3 programme available from the Hop Pole car park or the nine participating gardens.
