A man wearing a face covering threatened the shopkeeper with a large knife before escaping with a small amount of cash from the till at the shop in Lindley Street, Selston, at around 1.30pm yesterday (Monday, December 18).

No one was hurt.

It is believed he was dropped off by a grey Toyota Yaris before the incident and then picked up by the same car, which had false number plates. The car then drove off toward Pinxton.
