Road closures expected as Mansfield 5K and 10K returns to town.

Hundreds of people are expected to take to the streets as the annual Mansfield 5k and 10k returns to the town on Sunday, September 16.

Road closures are likely across Mansfield as the event returns, with scheduled closures between 8 am and 11.30 am affecting most of the town centre.

The 10k race will begin in Church Street at 9 am before making its way around Midworth Street and onto St Peter’s Way. It will follow St Peter’s Way up to Westfield Lane and then onto Rosemary Street and St John Street, where it will pass both the Rosemary Centre and Four Seasons Shopping Centre before concluding past Clumber Street. Participants in the Mansfield 5k, which begins at 10.30 am and takes the same route, will head to Mansfield market place following this route, while the 10k runners do a second lap of the track.
