A road has been closed after a serious collision which followed a disturbance in a Notts village.

Officers in Selston are dealing with the incident which was reported at 6.23pm today and have shut the B600 Nottingham Road in the village.
The collision is believed to have happened after a fight involving a number of people in the Alfreton Road area.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area and witnesses are asked to contact police quoting incident 723 of July 25.
