REVEALED: Labour hopefuls who have been shortlist for Mansfield's next MP nomination

The Labour Parliamentary hopefuls who will go head to head for the nomination to become Mansfield's next MP have been revealed.

The Chad can now confirm that Sonya Ward, Neil Clayton, Melanie Darrington and Peter Roberts have been shortlisted to make a bid for the formal nomination to take on Tory Ben Bradley and become the town’s next MP.

David Prescott, who last week the party cleared of wrongdoing over allegations he cold-called constituency members outside of specified timescales, has not made the local shortlist.
