Violence

Jamie Stephen Strouther (24) of Pye Avenue Mansfield, assaulted a female and damaged wall plaster and two internal doors. He was given a four month prison sentence, a restraining order was made and he was ordered to pay compensation of £200.

Scott Patrick Williams (43) of Ward Place Mansfield, assaulted a female causing her actual bodily harm and damaged doors. He was given a 14 week suspended sentence, ordered to pay £200 compensation with costs of £85 and £80 victim surcharge.

Lee Justin Richard Abbott (43) of Brown Avenue Mansfield Woodhouse, assaulted a female by beating. He was given a 10 week sentence suspended for two years and ordered to comply with a two years supervision programme. He was ordered to pay costs or £500 and £80 victim surcharge.

Theft

Grazyna Banasik (60) of Andover Road Mansfield, stole meat and a bottle of whisky from Tesco and was in possession of a magnetic clothes tag remover. She was given a 40 hour unpaid work requirement, with £372 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

Radoslaw Hibsz (39) of Chichester Close Mansfield, stole meat and a bottle of whisky from Tesco, jointly charged with Grazyne Banasik. He was fined £150 with victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £372.

Annalise Cuthbertson (20) of Hatton Court Mansfield, Stole pharmaceutical products worth £127.35 from Wilkinson Stores and chewing gum and healthcare products from Tesco. She was given an eight week suspended sentence and ordered to pay compensation of £127.35.

Gavin Kyle Smith (26) of Abbey Road Blidworth, stole £100 of meat from Tesco and breached a restraining order. A nine month drug rehabilitation requirement was made and he was ordered to pay compensation.

Christopher Roberts (36) of Southwell Road East Rainworth, stole cabling of unknown value from BT and possession of amphetamine. Given an eight week suspended sentence, victim surcharge of £80 and £85 costs.

Adam Paul Bill Yeald (33) of Tideswell Court Mansfield, stole an electric razor and doll worth £107 from Tesco. Jailed for eight weeks because of previous offending record, with victim surcharge of £80.

Mark Anthony Staniland (31) of Nottingham Road Mansfield, stole a Calvin Klein gift set worth £49.99 from TK Maxx. He was discharged conditionally for six months with £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.

Drink driving

Emma Jane Hands (34) of Fackley Road Teversal, admitted having 86mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath, while driving a motor vehicle. The legal limit is 35. Hands also pleaded guilty failing to stop after damaging two vehicles. It was her third offence of driving with excess alcohol. She also pleaded guilty to possessing class B drug amphetamine.She was given a 12 week suspended prison sentence, disqualified from driving for 40 months and a 12 month supervision requirement.Hands was also ordered to pay compensation of £250 and £300 respectively.

Dainis Seipuls (50) of Forest Town , admitted having 272 milligrams of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He was banned from driving for 24 months and ordered to participate in Alcohol Project, with costs of £85.

Breach

Susan Bingley (45) of Gladstone Street Mansfield, failed to comply with community order by tampering with a home monitoring unit. She was fined £50 with costs of £20.

David Marlow (33) of Lowmoor Road Kirkby, breached a restraining order made by Nottingham Crown Court and failed to surrender to custody at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court. Committed to prison for a total sentence of 28 weeks, with victim surcharge of £80.

John Kavanagh (26) of Layton Avenue Mansfield, used threatening , abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a male. A community order was made, with £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.

Ian Alexander Scott (42) of Beech Tree Avenue Mansfield Woodhouse, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. Discharged conditionally for six months, costs of £85 and victim surcharge £15.

Other

Shane Lewis (33) of High Close Kirkby, admitted possession of a kitchen knife in a public place without good reason, failing to surrender to custody at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court while on bail and obstructing a constable in the execution of his duty. Sentenced to eight weeks in jail.

Kelly Marie Roberts (29) of Eastfield Side Sutton, caused unnecessary suffering to a cat by failing to seek appropriate veterinary care. She was given an unpaid work requirement of 40 hours and disqualified from keeping any animals for two years. Roberts was ordered to pay costs of £50 and victim surcharge of £60.
