Violence

Marcus Matthew Mitchell, 20, of Sutton Road, Huthwaite, was given a restraining order after admitting he assaulted a woman. He also admitted to damaging two doors and is now attending officer supervision sessions. He has to pay £210 in fines and costs.

Mark Upex, 40, of Greensfields, Sutton, admitted assaulting a man at Natwest bank on Church Street in Mansfield and was given a six month conditional discharge and £250 of court costs.

Jake Doncaster, 24, of Halstead Close, Forest Town, admitted to assaulting a man in the co-op store on Chapel Street, Kirkby, with a loaf of bread, by hitting him in the head. He was ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £180 fine and £105 in additional court costs. He also pleaded guilty to driving a car without insurance and was given a six month driving ban.

Cherry Lee, 28, of Meden Bank, Sutton, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her and was ordered to pay £150 compensation. She was also given a community order of officer supervision and £150 of court costs.

Criminal Damage

Max Hallam, 23, of Mapplewells Road, Sutton, admitted destroying a glass and stock worth £61 at the Crown and Anchor pub, Exchange Row, Mansfield. He was committed to prison for six weeks and ordered to pay compensation of £61 and a criminal courts charge of £150.

Lorrianne Jamieson, 22, of Willoughby Court, Bellamy Road Estate, Mansfield, pleaded guilty to damaging a window pane worth £61 belonging to Mansfield District Council and was ordered to repay the amount in compensation, along with £150 in court costs.

Daniel Mark Widdowson, 19, Marley Street, Sutton, admitted damaging three doors and a fire extinguisher belonging to Framework Housing. He was ordered to pay £540 in fines and court costs.

James Dawkins, 24, of Sycamore Road, New Ollerton, pleaded guilty to destroying a window and was made to pay £150 compensation. HE was given a six month conditional discharge and £235 in court costs.

Drink Driving

Mathew Morris, 26, of Savile Road, Bilsthorpe, admitted drink-driving on Mansfield Road, Sutton, with 97mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath - the legal limit is 35mcgs. He was given a 40 month driving ban and £295 in fines and costs.

Daniel Matthews, 24, of Queen Street, Kirkby, admitted driving on Lindleys Lane with 80mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath - the legal limit is 35mcgs - in a van that was taken without the owners consent and without insurance. He was given a 20 month driving ban, 80 hours community work and £295 court costs.

Theft

Nicholas Lockyear, 47, of James Street, Kirkby, pleaded guilty to stealing £700 worth of drum cabling and a robin testing kit from a man for his own benefit. He was given a six week prison sentence, suspended for nine months and £260 in court costs.

Paul Pearson, 25, of Rosewood Drive, Kirkby, admitted to stealing six Rug Doctor cleaners worth £2,580 and was made to pay £500 in compensation, meet a drug rehabilitation requirement and £180 in additional court costs.

Christine Brown, 37, of Wollaton Road, Kirkby, admitted stealing £14 worth of cheese and wine from Morrisons and using racist threatening and abusive words. She was given a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £205 in court costs.

Ionut Mutu, 27, of Poulter Street, Langwith, pleaded guilty to stealing a woman’s purse and lottery tickets and was given a 120 day prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, 200 hours community work and £345 in court costs.

Motoring

Khalid Mohammed, 27, of Parkers Lane, Mansfield Woodhouse, admitted driving a car on Saint Peter’s Way, Mansfield, when disqualified from driving and without insurance. He was disqualified for a further two years and ordered to complete 100 hours community work. He will also pay £295 in fees and costs.

Robert Elliott, 23, of Healdswood Street, Sutton, was found guilty of driving a motorbike on Middleton Boulevard without a legal license or insurance. He was fined and given court charges to the sum of £811.

Thomas Lloyd Payne, 19, of Verona court, Mansfield, pleaded guilty to driving a car whilst uninsured at Nottingham Road Retail Park and was given six license points and £305 in fines and costs.

Mark James Kirk, 35, of Northfield Park, Mansfield Woodhouse, admitted driving 43mph on Chapel Lane , Mansfield Woodhouse- a 30mph road. He was given four license points and ordered to pay £275 in fines and fees.

Miscellaneous

Mark Kynaston, 28, of Glen Street, Sutton, admitted harassing a woman who made it clear she did not want any contact from him and was given a restraining order against her. He was ordered to pay £535 in fines and court charges

Sharna Attaway, 25, of Fox Street, Kirkby, pleaded guilty to committing fraud by advertising items on Facebook to sell, which were not intended to be sold, to make a gain for herself. She was ordered to pay a total of £1,050 in compensation and criminal court charges and was given a nine week curfew.
