Drink Driving

Caine Handley, 27, of Stonyford Road, Sutton, admitted having 83 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath while behind the wheel of a VW Polo. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He also admitted riving without insurance. He was given 12 weeks’ jail suspended for 12 months because it was his fourth drink-driving offence in 10 years, was banned from driving for five years, and made to pay £165 in costs;

Karen Jane Breedon, 55, of Devonshire Close, Huthwaite, admitted having 102 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Peugeot 207. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He was banned from driving for two years, fined £215 and made to pay £107 in costs;

Daniel David Jessop, 39, c/o Derby Street, Mansfield, admitted failing to provide a specimen for testing and was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £140 and made to pay £105 in costs.

Violence

Ryan Dickinson, 29, of Veron Road, Kirkby admitted assaulting a female and causing harassment, alarm or distress, was found guilty or resisting arrest after a trial and admitted two counts of failing to surrender to custody. He was handed a community order and made to pay £310 in costs;

Riley Joe Machin, 19, of Barker Street, Huthwaite, was found guilty after a trial of assaulting another male and admitted possession of cocaine. He was given a community order with six months’ curfew and made to pay £660 in costs;

Mark Anthony Steven Black, 48, of Clegg Hill Drive, Huthwaite, admitted causing another male harassment, alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour. He was given a one-year conditional discharge an made to pay £115 in costs;

Kirk Tyrone Bingley, 23, of Ladybrook Lane, Mansfield, admitted assaulting a female and was jailed for 14 weeks and made to pay £80 costs.

Theft

Jevgenij Cerepanin, 31, of Nursery Court, Mansfield, admitted stealing perfume from Boots worth £60 and was given 40 hours community service and made to pay £145 in costs;

Neil Christian Harris, 37, of no fixed address, admitted stealing a multi-knife tool and headlamp from TK Maxx in Mansfield and was handed a six-month conditional discharge and made to pay £15 costs;

Richard Christopher Marsdin, 35, of Shirland Drive, Mansfield, admitted assisting in the retention or removal of stolen chocolate, worth £6, from Poundland, meat from Farmfoods, and failing to surrender to custody. He was jailed for seven weeks, suspended for six months, made to pay £6 compensation and £40 costs;

Adrian Alan Gregory Fincham, 27, of Old Mill Lane, Forest Town, admitted stealing a DVD player from Sainsbury’s worth £50 and failing to surrender to custody. He was given a community order and made to pay £145 in costs.

Criminal Damage

Christopher Michael Beniston, 28, of Mapplewells Crescent, Sutton, admitted damaging a door and possession of cannabis. He was jailed for 10 weeks, made to pay £100 compensation and £100 in costs.

Motoring

Wayne John Marsden, 34, of Lawrence Avenue, Mansfield Woodhouse, admitted using a mobile phone while driving an Audi and was fined £80, given three penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Ross David Waring, 26, of Swanson Avenue, Huthwaite, admitted running a red light in a Ford Transit and was fined £160, given three penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Brett Carter, 37, of White Post Farm, Farnsfield, admitted running a red light in a Ford Focus and he was fined £220, given three penalty points and made to pay £107 in costs;

Daniela Popescu, 26, of Clumber Street, Warsop was found to have driven a Vauxhall without insurance and was fined £660, given six penalty points and made to pay £151 in costs. The case was proved in her absence;

Thomas Edward Staples, 25, of Crompton Road, Bilsthorpe, was found to have used a mobile phone while driving a phone and was fined £220, given three penalty points and made to pay £107 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Paul Lee, 50, of Forest Road, Clipstone, admitted driving a Mercedes Sprinter without due care and attention and was fined £220, made to pay £107 in costs and given six penalty points.

Adam Philip Walmsley, 27, of Derby Road, Kirkby, admitted contacting a female that he prohibited from doing so by a restraining order, and was jailed for 24 weeks and made to pay £80 compensation.

Miscellaneous

Neil Robertson, 32, of Peel Crescent, Mansfield, admitted harassing a female with text messages, voice mails, and sending her a photo with a threatening nature. He was given a community order, told not to contact the female for six months and made to pay £145 in costs.
