This week’s Mansfield Magistrates’ Court listings
Carl Patrick Limb (32) of no fixed address, admitted stealing five packets of cigarettes and was jailed for 18 weeks, after activating a suspended sentence. He was made to pay £180 criminal courts charge and an £80 surcharge;
Alison Claire Banner (39) of Newgate Lane, Mansfield, admitted stealing a coat worth £38 from Tesco in Ollerton and failing to surrender to custody. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge, made to pay £150 criminal courts charge and a £15 surcharge;
Richard Alan Geoffrey Meehan (29) of Ravensdale Road, Mansfield, admitted receiving stolen goods including a Playstation and perfume, and was given 100 hours community service, made to pay £200 compensation and £85 costs;
Jason Alan Peters (39) of Heathcote Place, Sutton, admitted stealing a sat nav, and sunglasses. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and made to pay £40 compensation.
Jason Williams (25) of St Andrew’s Healthcare, Mansfield, admitted two counts of assaulting two males. He was made to pay £75 compensation to each victim and £85 costs;
Mark Ball (27) of Cavendish Street, Sutton, admitted assaulting another male and was fined £250, made to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and a £25 surcharge;
Liam Ben Hitchcock (21) of Princes Street, Mansfield, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and was fined £60 and made to pay a £20 surcharge;
David Carl Armstrong (47) of Stoneyford Court, Sutton, admitted stealing electricity to an unknown quantity, and damaging a door belonging to Ashfield Homes. He was made to pay £251 compensation and £85 costs;
Scott Richard Priestley (35) of Tideswell Court, Mansfield, admitted stealing items of clothing from Primark in Mansfield and was handed a six-month conditional discharge, made to pay £50 costs and a £15 surcharge.
Krzysztof Gotowicki (40) of Birkland Street, Mansfield, admitted damaging a door and was made to pay £300 compensation, fined £80, £150 criminal courts charge, £50 costs and a £20 surcharge;
Dean Graham (21) of Brookdale Road, Sutton, admitted damaging a glass panel door belonging to Ashfield Homes and was fined £115, made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.
Mitchell Ross Brown (23) of Mansfield Road, Warsop admitted having 174mlgs of alcohol in 100mls of urine when behind the wheel of a Peugeot. The legal limit is 107mlgs. He was banned from driving for 16 months, fined £230, made to pay £85 costs and a £23 surcharge;
Guntars Melecis (57) of Ninth Avenue, Forest Town, admitted having 115mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Astra. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was banned from driving for 26 months, given an eight-week prison term suspended for a year, told to pay £150 criminal court charges and an £80 surcharge;
Emma Jane Hamilton (27) of Shawcroft, Sutton, admitted having 80mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Ford Ka. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £110 and made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge;
Stephen Daniel Hyatt (30) of Ravensdale Road, Mansfield, admitted failing to provide a breath test and was jailed for eight weeks and made to pay an £80 surcharge.
Donna Marie Butler (38) of Greenway, Forest Town, admitted driving a Fiesta without insurance, failing to stop after causing damage to a car and failing to notify the police. She was fined £800 in total, made to pay £85 costs, a £40 surcharge and given six penalty points;
Callum Drury (27) of Carlton Close, Forest Town, admitted driving a BMW without a licence, insurance and without due care and attention. He was fined £1,000 in total and made to pay £85 costs and a £60 surcharge.
Mark Liam McCarthy (29) of Wollaton Road, Kirkby, admitted two counts of being in possession of cannabis, and was fined £110, made to pay £40 costs and a £20 surcharge;
Dean David Revill (43) of Sanders Avenue, Mansfield, admitted possessing cannabis and amphetamine, and was fined £80 and made to pay a £20 surcharge;
Carrie Louise Butler (27) of Lawrence Avenue, Kirkby, admitted possessing cannabis and was fined £70, made to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.
Mandy Diane Hempsall (50) of Clipstone Road East, Forest Town, failed to notify the DWP of a change in circumstances that could affect her employment support allowance. She was fined £275, made to pay £100 costs and a £28 surcharge.
