Violence

Melissa Burton, 23, of Beacon Drive, Kirkby, admitted assaulting a male and two females was given a community order, made to pay £100 compensation and £110 in costs;

Rebecca Louise Carpenter, 21, of Gladstone Street, Mansfield, admitted assaulting a male and a female and was given a community order with three months’ curfew, made to pay £25 compensation and £110 in costs;

Lisa McPherson, 43, of Howard Street, Sutton, admitted used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, two counts of failing to surrender to custody and was given 15 months’ conditional discharge and made to pay £100 in costs;

Daniel Keith Cooke, 30, of Tideswell Court, Mansfield, admitted assaulting a police officer, damaging a police cell and a wall. He was jailed for 10 weeks and made to pay £80 compensation;

Joshua Hind, 19, of no fixed address, admitted assaulting a male and a police officer and was given a community order, fined £120 and made to pay £100 compensation;

Luke Anthony Foster, 28, of Brierley Cottages, Sutton, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, damaging fence panels and plant pots, and was given a community order with 120 hours of community service, made to pay £60 compensation and £170 in costs;

Ryan James Davis, 25, of Mary Street, Kirkby, admitted assaulting a male and was given a community order, made to pay £30 compensation and £210 in costs;

Liam Simon Burns, 22, of Acacia Court, Forest Town, admitted assaulting a police officer and damaging a window. She was handed a community order, made to pay £200 compensation and £60 in costs;

Drugs

Mihvan Rashid Hassan, 32, of Clumber Drive, Mansfield, admitted possessing cocaine and was fined £120 and made to pay £105 in costs;

Razgar Hassan, 32, of Thoresby Street, Mansfield, admitted possessing cocaine and was fined £240 and made to pay £109 in costs;

Martin Porter, 28, of Oak Tree Drive, Shirebrook, admitted possessing amphetamine and was fined £80 and made to pay £105 in costs;

Drink Driving

Brian Johnson, 57, of Egmanton Road, Meden Vale, had 102 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Ford Transit. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He was given 100 hours’ community service, banned from the road for two years and made to pay £145 in costs;

Benjamin James Comer, 23, Oak Tree Lane, Mansfield, had 84 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He was fined £220, banned from driving for 20 months and made to pay £107 in costs;

Motoring

Thomas Morland, 55, of Station Road, Rainworth admitted jumping a red light while driving a Vauxhall Astra and was fined £100, given three penalty points and made to pay £105;

Luke Edwin Shane Davies, 32, of Victoria Road, Kirkby, was found to have not have control of a Renault while driving, A charge of using a mobile phone while driving was withdrawn. He was fined £250, made to pay £110 in costs and given three penalty points. The case was proved in his absence;

Theft

Laura Marie Clowes, 29, of Ashland Road, Sutton, admitted stealing meat and coffee worth £46 from Sainsbury’s and failing to surrender to custody. She was handed a community order with three months’ curfew, and made to pay £145 in costs;

Adrian Richard George Lewis, 32, of Newark Close, Mansfield, dishonestly made off without paying for food and drink worth £110 from Chiquito’s, a second count for food and drink worth £161, stole razors, wine and lager from Sainsbury’s, stealing food worth £49 and failing to comply with supervision requirements. He was jailed for 34 weeks and made to pay £80 costs;

Michael Leslie Newton, 36, of David Street, Kirkby, admitted stealing a purse containing £40 and was jailed for 20 weeks because of his lengthy record, and was made to pay £80 compensation;

Michael Merritt, 46, of Swanson Avenue, Huthwaite, admitted contacting a person via email when prohibited by a restraining order. He was given a community order and made to pay £145 in costs;

Miscellaneous

Jonathan Bentley, 32, of Ash House Vicars Court, Clipstone, admitted fishing without a licence at Clipstone and was fined £120 and made to pay £80 in costs;

David Miller of Millersdale Avenue, Mansfield, admitted fishing without a licence at Clipstone and was fined £300 and made to pay £157 in costs;

Troy Dyer, 18, of Greendale Crescent, Clipstone, admitted discharging a firework in Clipstone near a highway which left a driver injured, interrupted, or endangered. He was fined £100 and made to pay £170 in costs;

Daniel Michael Meason, 28, of Findern Court, Mansfield, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Mansfield town centre and was fined £80 and made to pay £105 in costs;
