Theft

Christopher Bickerton, 35, of no fixed address, admitted stealing a £50 electric toothbrush from Lloyds Pharmacy, and was given a community order and made to pay £145 costs;

Helen Ward, 32, of Tideswell Court, Mansfield, admitted stealing meat worth £62 from Marks and Spencer, chocolate worth £15 from WH Smith and offending while on subject to a conditional discharge. She was jailed for 42 days and made to pay £22.50 compensation;

Shane Ward, 38, of Tideswell Court, Mansfield, admitted stealing meat worth £62 from Marks and Spencer and chocolate worth £15 from WH Smith. He was jailed for 42 days and made to pay £22.50 compensation;

Daniel Colin Bills, 30, of Mason Street, Sutton, admitted six counts of stealing meat from Asda, stealing bottles of alcohol from Garden Lane News, breaching a restraining order and failing to surrender to custody. He was jailed for eight weeks, suspended for a year, and made to pay £148 compensation.

Drink Driving

Claire Louise Marsh, 36, of Smith Street, Mansfield, admitted being behind the wheel of a Ford Focus and having 51 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. She also admitted driving while disqualified and driving without insurance. She was banned from driving for 40 months, given a community order with an alcohol treatment requirement and made to pay £145 in costs;

Colin Paul Forster, 46, of Petersmith Drive, New Ollerton, admitted being behind the wheel of a Mitsubishi while having 129 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He also admitted driving without insurance and without a licence. He was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for a year, banned from driving for four years, fined £650 and made to pay £165 in costs;

Rachel Toomey, 39, of Arthur Street, Mansfield, admitted being behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta while having 126 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. She was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for a year, banned from driving for 30 months and made to pay £165 costs;

Grzegorz Markiewicz, 41, of Bancroft Lane, Mansfield, was found guilty after a trial of being behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Vectra while having 120 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He was given a community order with 100 hours community service, banned from driving for six months, and made to pay £360 in costs;

Shantelle Louise Dawson, 29, of Shirland Drive, Mansfield, admitted stealing chocolate worth £6 from Poundland and four legs of lamb from Farmfoods and was jailed for 10 weeks because of her record for dishonesty, and made to pay £80 costs.

Motoring

Jade Kayleigh Binch, 26, of Chaucer Crescent, Sutton, admitted driving an Audi on the A38 at a speed of 91 mph in a 50 mph zone. She also admitted driving at 68 mph on the A38 six days later. She was fined £200, made to pay £210 in costs and given eight penalty points;

Jean Daws, 49, of Oxton Close, Mansfield, was found to have driven a Peugeot without insurance and was fined £660, made to pay £151 in costs and given six penalty points. The case was proved in her absence;

Ben Griffiths, 24, of Carsic Road, Sutton, admitted driving a Vauxhall on the A38 at 85 mph in a 50 mph zone. He was fined £350, made to pay £115 in costs and given six penalty points;

Ahmet Gundogu, 32, of Brierley Road, Sutton, admitted driving a For Mondeo on the A38 at 72 mph in a 50 mph zone. He was fined £100, made to pay £105 in costs and given five penalty points;

Kyle Alan Kilday, 25, of Ruskin Road, Mansfield, was found to not having proper control of a Ford vehicle and was fined £220, made to pay £107 in costs and given three penalty points. The case was prove din his absence;

Anthony Paul Davies, 42, of Oyster Way, Warsop, admitted using a mobile phone while behind the wheel of a VW and was fined £100, made to pay £105 in costs and given three penalty points;

Paul Andrew Hayes, 50, of Sartfield Road, Forest Town, admitted using a mobile phone while behind the wheel of a Ford and was fined £70, made to pay £105 in costs and given three penalty points;

Keaton Roy Taylor, 18, of Church Drive, Ravenshead, admitted driving a Vauxhall without wearing a seat belt. He was fined £100 and made to pay £105 costs.

Violence

Jamie Cudworth, 22, of Leamington Drive, Sutton, admitted carrying a kitchen knife in public and was fined £120 and made to pay £105 in costs;

Prubjot Singh Purewal, 41, of Nottingham Road, Ravenshead, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words and behaviour towards two police officers and was fined £600 and made to pay £150 compensation and £85 costs.

Miscellaneous

Andrew Turner, 48, of Gunthorpe Court, Mansfield, admitted having a German Shepherd dog that was dangerously out of control. He was fined £50, made to pay £60 compensation and £100 costs. He was also ordered to keep the dog under control in future by it being kept being on a lead in future or risk having it destroyed.
