Theft

Sefton Brown, 37, of David Street, Kirkby, admitted stealing shampoo from Wilkinson’s in Sutton and coffee from Poundstretcher in was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, made to pay £50 compensation and £85 costs;

Aaron James Turner, 28, of no fixed address, admitted having articles in connection with theft, including a hammer and a penknife, in Forest Town, possession of cannabis and stealing a coat from a person. He was jailed for 14 weeks and made to pay £115 in costs;

Karl Michael Gibbons, 34, of Brandreth Avenue, Sutton, admitted stealing two lawn mowers from Wilko’s in Sutton and stealing jewellery from a female in Sutton. He was handed a community order with drug rehabilitation, made to pay £691 compensation and £85 costs;

Ewelina Podgoeska, 34, of Corporation Street, Mansfield, admitted stealing a duvet cover, shower curtain and food items worth £45 from Poundstretcher in Sutton. She was fined £120 and made to pay £115 in costs.

Violence

Ross Royce Layden, 31, of Charlesworth Street, Bolsover admitted possessing a curved-blade Stanley knife in Tesco in Mansfield and was jailed for four months and made to pay £80 costs;

Stephen John McNamara, 26, of Highland Drive, Sutton, admitted assaulting a female and damaging items belonging to her. He was jailed for 12 weeks and made to pay £80 in costs;

Brian Gascoigne, 46, of West Hill, Skegby, was found guilty after a trial of assaulting a male and was fined £900, made to pay £100 compensation and £400 in costs;

Gary Bennett, 51, of Mill Street, Mansfield, was found guilty after a trial of assaulting a male and was given a two-year conditional discharge, made to pay £50 compensation and made to pay £250 in costs;

Phillip Charles Mulholland, 42, of Laurel Avenue, Forest Town admitted assaulting a male and using threatening abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He was jailed for 18 weeks, suspended for 12 months and made to pay £350 compensation;

Dean Brian Taylor, 23, of Millers Way, Kirkby, admitted threatening to petrol bomb a male’s house and was given 26 weeks’ jail, suspended for 12 months, carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and made to pay £200 in costs;

Robert John Dunn, 30, of Huthwaite Road, Sutton, admitted assaulting two males in a pub at Sutton and was given a community order with 125 hours of unpaid work, told to pay £100 compensation to each victim and made to pay £170 in costs;

Kevin Dobb, 48, of Tideswell Court, Mansfield, admitted assaulting a female and was fined £120, made to pay £100 compensation and made to pay £115 in costs.

Motoring

Robert John Hemstock, 51, of Newlands Drive, Forest Town, was found guilty after a trial of not wearing a seat belt in a truck and was fined £250 and made to pay £525 in costs;

Christopher Humphrey, 23, of Willoughby Court, Mansfield, admitted driving a Vauxhall without insurance or a licence along Quaker Lane in Mansfield and was fined £120, given six penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Andrew Michael Kowalski, 63, of Manor Road, Church Warsop, admitted driving an Audi at 54mph in a 30mph zone on Wellow Road and was fined £430, given six penalty points and made to pay £128 in costs;

Richard Joseph Lloyd, 30, of Sanderling Way, Forest Town, admitted driving a Rover on Ladybrook Lane, Mansfield, while using a mobile phone and was fined £110, given three penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Dean Robert Parker, 33, of Dell Lea, Mansfield admitted driving a Mercedes at 54mph in a 30mph zone on Southwell Road West and was fined £266, given six penalty points and made to pay £111 in costs;

Zoe Turner, 31, of Vickers Street, Warsop, admitted driving a For Fiesta without insurance and was fined £120, given six penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Piotr Kwiatkowski, 40, of Grange Avenue, Mansfield, was found guilty of driving a Mazda while using a mobile phone along Sheepbridge Lane and was fined £220, given three penalty points and made to pay £107 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Rachel Redfern, 30, of Butler Crescent, Mansfield, was found guilty of driving a Citroen without a licence or insurance and was fined £660, given six penalty points and made to pay £151 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Jamie Damion Straw, 18, of Brown Avenue, Mansfield Woodhouse, admitted driving a Renault without a licence or insurance and was fined £120, given six penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Karl Nathan Wright, 21, of Intake Road, Clipstone, was found guilty of riding a motorcycle without a licence or insurance and was fined £660, given six penalty points and made to pay £151 in costs. The case was proved in his absence;

Shanil Kumar Narshi, 27, of Saxby Drive, Mansfield, admitted driving a VW Golf at 54mph in a 30mph zone on Rosemary Street, Mansfield and was fined £160, given six penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Philip Stuart Henshaw, 60, of Sandy Lane, Mansfield, admitted failing to stop in a Nissan Micra and failed to give a name and address after an accident. He was fined £240, given six penalty points and made to pay £109 in costs;

Andrew Lee Jackson, 18, of Baslow Way, Mansfield, admitted driving a Ford without licence and insurance and was fined £120, given six penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Roy Dickinson, 66, of Dabek Rise, Kirkby, was found guilty of driving a Vauxhall and failing to stop after an accident, failing to report an accident and driving without a licence. He was fined £660, given eight penalty points and made to pay £151 in costs. The case was proved in his absence.

Christopher William Morton, 46, of Longstone Way, Mansfield, admitted having 115 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Renault Scenic. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He was banned from driving for 24 months, given a community order with alcohol treatment requirement and made to pay £85 costs;

Marcin Krzyszt Adamczak, 30, of Saddlers Close, Forest Town, admitted having 72 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Volvo S60. Then legal limit is 35 mcgs. He was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £461 and made to pay £131 in costs;

Erik Ostas, 22, of Broomhill Lane, Mansfield, admitted having 66 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath while behind the wheel of a Citroen Picasso. Then legal limit is 35 mcgs. He also admitted driving without a licence or insurance. He was banned from driving or 17 months, fined £400 in total and made to pay £115 in costs.

Fraud

Dawn Lesley Elizabeth Wood, 59, Ordsall Close, Mansfield, admitted failing to notify the Department for Work and Pensions that she was living with another person that would affect her income support and employment support allowance and failing to notify Mansfield District Council which would affect her housing benefit. She was given a three-month electronically-tagged curfew order and made to pay £100 costs.

Breach

Ryan Dickinson, 30, of Vernon Road, Kirkby, was found guilty of failing to comply with a community order, was fined £50 and made to pay £100 in costs.
