Constantin Suhan, aged 19, of Market Place, Mansfield, admitted having a kitchen knife with a 15-inch blade in a public place without good reason. He was committed to detention for 26 weeks, suspended for 12 months. It was possession of a knife in dangerous circumstances, heavily in drink following individuals around the town. He was given an eight-week curfew with electronic monitoring and a 100 hours’ unpaid work requirement. A victim surcharge of £115 was imposed with costs of £85.

Motoring

Shaun Swain, 45, of Rosewood Drive Kirkby, admitted driving while disqualified, without a licence and failing to stop for a policeman. Offences were committed during a recently imposed ban and evidence of bad driving. He was committed to prison for eight weeks, disqualified from driving for 20 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Jack Aram, 23, of Ashworth Drive, Mansfield Woodhouse, was found guilty of driving without due care and attention. He was fined £440 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £44 and costs of £85.

Wendy Clark, 54, of Princess Avenue, Warsop, admitted failing to stop after an accident. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £30.

Lee Orrell, 48, of Northfield Drive Mansfield, admitted driving with 117 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath where the legal limit is 35 mcg. A community order was made with a rehabilitation activity requirement for 10 days and unpaid work of 120 hours. He was disqualified from driving for 48 months with victim surcharge of £85.

Matthew Smith, 30, of Alberta Avenue Selston admitted driving with 56mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He also admitted driving without insurance. He was disqualified from driving for 15 months, fined £305 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.

Darren Topliss, 41, of Tudor Crescent, Rainworth, admitted driving with 57mcg in 100ml of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 16 months, fined £325 and made to pay costs of £85.

Stephen King, 25,of Sandown Road, Mansfield, admitted driving while disqualified. He also admitted driving with 216 milligrams of alcohol in 100ml of blood where the legal limit is 80mg. He was fined £180, disqualified from driving for six months, with victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.

Craig Smith, 28, of Victoria Road, Kirkby, admitted taking a car unlawfully and causing damage to a wall. He was given a community order with a 180 hours’ unpaid work requirement and ordered to pay compensation of £,1500, costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £85.

Ryan Revill, 21, of Cherry Grove, Warsop, admitted driving while disqualified. He was committed to prison for six weeks suspended for six months. Offence while on a community order. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and victim surcharge of £115. He was disqualified from driving for six months.

Aivars Lisovskis, 50, of Rowan Drive Kirkby admitted stealing meat to the value of £52.93 from Asda. A community order was made with 15 days of rehabilitation and 80 hours of unpaid work. There was a victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £85. The goods were recovered.

Natasha Clark, 36, of Wellbeck Street, Sutton, admitted stealing a coat worth £35 from Asda. She was fined £110 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £160.

Violence

Andrew Bradshaw, 54, of Vernon Road, Kirkby, admitted assaulting a woman. A community order was made with an alcohol treatment requirement for six months, a rehabilitation activity requirement and a restraining order was made. He was ordered to pay compensation of £100, with £85 costs.

Bryan Slack, 42, of Westfield Lane, Mansfield, admitted assaulting a man by beating him. A community order was made with a rehabilitation activity requirement of 30 days. He was ordered to pay £50 compensation and £50 costs.

Benjamin Braithwaite, 27, of Coppice Road, Forest Town, admitted assaulting a woman by beating and damaging a front door. He was committed to prison for 20 weeks in total suspended for 24 months, with a rehabilitation activity requirement. A restraining order was made and he was ordered to pay compensation of £150.
