Violence

Jayesh Hammond, 24, of Kay Road Mansfield admitted assaulting a male causing actual bodily harm. He was committed to prison for 18 weeks suspended for 12 months. The court heard it was an unprovoked attack in the town centre under the influence of alcohol. The victim was unconscious before he hit the floor and the offence had a lasting impact medically and mentally upon the victim. He was ordered to pay £500 compensation.

Theft

Lee Mark Davis, 32, of Byron Road Annesley pleaded guilty to stealing cosmetics and perfume worth £420 from Boots, perfumes and cosmetics worth £500 from Wilkinson stores and perfumes worth £240 from Asda. He also admitted using threatening behaviour. He was committed to prison for a total of 42 weeks.

Mark Kevin Askew, 34, of Brand Lane Stanton Hill admitted stealing lights from a waste recycling centre. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months with £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Rasalah Giritharan, 46 of Huthwaite Road Sutton admitted selling alcohol to a 16 year old at Costcutter, Sutton Road, Huthwaite. He was fined £500 with £50 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Motoring

Jason Cornell, 42, of Columbia Close Selston admitted driving with 53 mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath when the legal limit is 35 mcg. He was fined £553 with £55 victim surcharge and £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 15 months.

Miscellaneous

Mark Anthony Radford, 57, of Brookland Avenue Mansfield admitted damaging a bed and a bin worth £100 at Travelodge Hotel. The offence was committed while a community order was in force. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation with £15 victim surcharge.

Craig Alan Ross, 29, of Warsop Road Mansfield Woodhouse admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place. He was fined £80 with £85 costs.

Jonathon White, 35, of Baums Lane Mansfield admitted entering the Spice of Life Cafe with intent to steal. He was committed to prison for 18 weeks, with £115 victim surcharge. Offence committed against a cafe in the community hospital whilst subject to a post sentence supervision order.

Jenny Dorothy Jane Jones, 53, of Kirklington Road, Rainworth admitted making a call to Nottingham Police emergency services without having a cause or genuine emergency which she was prohibited from soing by a criminal behaviour order. A community order was made with a rehabilitation activity requirement of 20 days, victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £85.

Samuel Phillips, 25, of Crampton Avenue, Mansfield admitted being drunk and disorderly at Birmingham New Street Station. He also admitted using threatening behaviour towards a policeman which was racially aggravated. The offence was committed during a suspended sentence order. He was committed to prison for a total of 17 weeks suspended for 12 months with £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Jordan Shawn Harris, 22, of Smith Street, Mansfield admitted possession of controlled drug MDMB-PINACA. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months with £20 victim surcharge.

Shalam Islam, 29, of Pelham Street Mansfield admitted using threatening behaviour. He was fined £400 with £40 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Chelsea Marie Bearder, 23, of Gladstone Street, Mansfield admitted using threatening behaviour towards a male and damaging a pane of glass at Maid Marion takeaway. She was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay £100 compensation.
