Violence

Ryan Smith, aged 32, of Holly Court, Forest Town, admitted assaulting a female by beating. He also admitted using violence for the purpose of securing entry into the Five Star Tanning Salon, knowing there was someone present opposed to the entry and damaging a door. He was committed to prison for a total of 16 weeks. A restraining order was made and he was ordered to pay £100 compensation.

Mark Wood, 25, of Carlton Street, Mansfield, was found guilty of assaulting two females. He was also found guilty of attending an address while prohibited by a restraining order imposed by Mansfield Magistrates’ Court and damaging a car wing mirror. He was committed to prison for a total of 32 weeks.

Adam Brown, 29, of Sixth Avenue, Clipstone, admitted assaulting a female by beating. He also admitted possession of cocaine and urinating in a public place. He was committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for a year. The court was told it was a nasty incident committed under the influence of drink and drugs. A 12-month rehabilitation requirement was imposed with 100 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. He was ordered to pay £150 compensation and costs of £85.

Gary Kitchener, 36, of Rugby Road, Rainworth, was found guilty of assaulting a female by beating. He also admitted damaging a black iPhone 5c. The offence was committed while subject to a conditional discharge order. A community order was made with an alcohol treatment requirement for six months and to participate in an accredited programme for 30 days. A restraining order was made. He was ordered to pay £620 costs.

Darren Parnaby, 48, of Shearsby Drive, Forest Town, admitted assaulting a male and a female by beating. He was committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and costs of £85.

Theft

Paul Bradley, 25, of Petersmith Drive, Ollerton, admitted stealing DVDs worth £80 from Tesco. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months with victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85

Tomas Roznovjak, 27, of Devonshire Street New Houghton, admitted stealing a bottle of Gordon’s Gin from B&M Bargains and a pair of shoes and trousers worth £61.99 from Beals Store. A community order was made with a rehabilitation activity requirement and an unpaid work requirement of 120 hours within the next 12 months. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85.

Miscellaneous

William Wood, 25, of Carlton Street, Mansfield, admitted attending an address while prohibited by a restraining order imposed by Mansfield Magistrates’ Court. He also admitted damaging a car wing mirror.

Edgaras Adomaitis, 26, of George Street, Sutton, admitted jointly failing to comply with a direction from a constable to leave Mansfield town centre and not return in an agreed timescale. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.

Raimonda Beniusyte, 26, of Station Road, Selston, admitted jointly failing to comply with a direction from a constable to leave Mansfield town centre and not return in an agreed timescale. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £85 costs.

Sheila Fretwell, 59, of Pentland Court Mansfield, failed to notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change of circumstances affecting entitlement to bereavement benefit in that she was living with a man as husband and wife. She was discharged conditionally for two years and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £200.

Jane Radford, 50, of Eastfield Side, Sutton, admitted harassment of a woman which was racially aggravated. A community order was made with a rehabilitation activity requirement for a maximum of 15 days. A restraining order was made. She was fined £90 and ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and costs of £300.

Sexual offences

Paul Massey, 41, of Oak Tree Crescent, Mansfield Woodhouse, admitted touching a woman sexually when she did not consent. A community order was made with a rehabilitation activity requirement of 30 days and 100 hours of unpaid work. He was ordered to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs and required to register with police under the Sexual Offences Act for five years.

Motoring

Zacharious Jackson, 20, of Forest Road Kirkby, admitted driving with controlled drug THC over the limit in his bloodstream. He also admitted driving without insurance or a licence. A community order was made with a rehabilitation activity requirement of five days and a victim surcharge of £85 was made. He was disqualified from driving for 15 months.

Darren Spencer, 36, of Thorpelands Avenue, Forest Town, admitted driving with 117 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath where the legal limit is 35mcg. He was disqualified from driving for 28 months. A community order was made with an accredited programme for 19 days with a rehabilitation requirement and an unpaid work requirement of 100 hours in the next 12 months. He was ordered top ay a victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £85.

Luke Evans, 30, of Moor Street, Mansfield, admitted driving without a licence, refusing to stop when asked by a policeman and driving with controlled drugs THC and Benzoylecgonine in his bloodstream. A community order was made with a 200 hours’ unpaid work requirement within the next 12 months. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Ben Lowe, 21, of Hall Street Mansfield admitted driving with 62mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He also admitted possession of cannabis and driving without a licence. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months , fined £250 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

Threats

Regan Lee, 20, of Tideswell Court Mansfield, admitted using threatening or abusive behaviour toward two police constables. He also admitted possession of cannabis. He was committed to detention for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Peter Welch, 41, of Chatsworth Street, Sutton, admitted using threatening behaviour toward a male. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

Ryan Walsh, 20, of Broxtowe Drive Mansfield, admitted using threatening behaviour. He was fined £60 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £85 costs.
