Violence

Neil Harpham, 58, of High street Stanton Hill was found guilty of assaulting three females by beating. He was also found guilty of pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to harassing them. He was committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months and ordered to have treatment for alcohol dependency and pay compensation of £100 with £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs. A restraining order was made.

Jane Elizabeth Richardson, 46, of Garratt Avenue Mansfield pleaded guilty to assaulting a female and assaulting the same female by beating her. She was discharged conditionally for 12 month and ordered to pay £200 compensation. A restraining order was made.

Olivia Jade White, 18, of Wildflower Grove Sutton pleaded guilty to assaulting a constable in the execution of her duty. She was discharged conditionally for 12 months with victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £85.

Carl Raymond Busby, 54, of Forest Road Clipstone Village was found guilty of assaulting a female by beating her. A community order was made with an unpaid work requirement of 130 hours within the next 12 months. A restraining order was also made. He was ordered to pay compensation of £250, victim surcharge of £85 and £620 costs.

Nick Haywood, 27, of Portland Street, Sutton admitted assaulting a constable in the execution of his duty and stealing a razor and batteries valued at £15.98 from B&M Bargains store. He was fined £200 with £30 victim surcharge and costs of £85.

Theft

John Kavanagh, 29, of David Street Sutton pleaded guilty to five counts of stealing grocery items from Co-Op stores. He was committed to prison for a total of 30 days and ordered to pay compensation and victim surcharge of £70. Offences so serious because he is a persistent offender and the offences were committed whilst subject to post-sentence supervision.

Donald Samuel Paul Braddock, 25, of Clifford Street Mansfield pleaded guilty to possession of three wraps of controlled drug diamorphine. He also admitted stealing two packs of whey protein worth £25.99 from Home Bargains. He also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court. Offences were committed whilst on licence on bail and defendant showed disregard for the direction of the court. He was committed to prison for a total of 12 weeks, with victim surcharge of £115.

Colin Speirs, 43, of Ratcliffe Gate Mansfield pleaded guilty to two offences of stealing protein powder worth £34.95 from Boots. A curfew requirement of 24 days with electronic monitoring was imposed and a rehabilitation activity requirement of up to 10 days. He was ordered to pay compensation and a victim surcharge of £85.

Miscellaneous

Jason Newman, 27, of Hibbert Road, Mansfield pleaded guilty to fraudulently altering a registration mark. he was fined £120 with £30 victim surcharge and costs of £85.

Motoring

Mark Ricki Kemp, 28, of Penrose Court Selston pleaded guilty to bein gin charge of a car whilst unfit to drive through drink. He was fined £213 with £30 victim surcharge and his driving record endorsed with 10 points.

Kellie Mcclure, 47, of Chruch Lane Selston amitted failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis. She was disqualified from driving for 12 months with costs of £85 and victim surcharge of £30.

Rachael Dawn Scott, 37, of Old Rufford Road Bilsthorpe admitted being in charge of a car whilst unfit to drive through drink. Her driving licence was endorsed with 10 points, she was fined £40 with £30 victim surcharge and costs of £85.
