THE songs of artists like Billy Joel, Elton John, Billy Fury, Buddy Holly and Dusty Springfield often evoke heart-warming memories of a bygone era.
And there will be a chance to relive these golden decades at matinee and evening shows which are coming to Mansfield’s Palace Theatre on 21st November.
The first show, Memories Are Made of Hits, will bring together the most popular music from the 1950s and ‘60s, including songs by Doris Day, Connie Francis, Johnnie Ray, Buddy Holly, Perry Como and many more.
The show will be performed at 2.30pm and tickets are £11 with concessions available.
Meanwhile, They Wrote The Songs, celebrates eminent songwriters who created hits for the likes of Neil Sedaka, Barry Manilow, Billy Joel and Elton John.
Both shows are performed by Barry Walker and his award-winning band SMACKEE.
Tickets are £16 with concessions available.
