Fashion retailer Dorothy Perkins has installed flooring, graphics, till points, lighting and mannequins at its store on West Gate.

Mandy Hague, store manager, said: “This refurbishment provides a modern, comfortable space for shoppers, and we can show off our up-to-date fashions better than ever before.

“Myself and my team are looking forward to seeing customers old and new, particularly as we have now taken delivery of our spring and summer collections.”

And Mandy says this year’s must-have items include cold shoulder tops, Bardot tops, skinny jeans, detailed dresses and mules.

The store, which has been on West Gate for 20 years, now employs 20 people.

Sarah Nelson, Mansfield Business Improvement District manager, said: “This investment from Dorothy Perkins highlights a commitment to the high street, helping make Mansfield a real destination for fashion-conscious shoppers.”
