Is Rebecca Adlington in with a chance of being crowned queen of the jungle?

Steve Davis, champion snooker player, was the fifth celebrity to be voted out of last night’s show following Tuesday night’s double eviction where Matthew Wright and Vincent Simone left the jungle.

So could Mansfield’s Rebecca Adlington have a shot at being crowned jungle queen? On betting websites Joey is currently favourite to win but Rebecca is among the top contenders alongside Kian, David and Amy.

The two-time Olympic gold swimmer has been winning over the public’s favour since heading into the Aussie outback more than two week’s ago.

Rebecca was given immunity for three of the early trials but proved she had true grit when selected by her fellow camp mates to do Drown Under where she won all of the available stars for camp.

And it all got very emotional midweek when the camp mates received emails from home.

Rebecca sobbed as Alfonso read her emails from her family and fiancé Harry.

She said afterwards when she was given the hard copy: “I’m going to sleep hugging this.”
