Read this if you own an IKEA dishwasher
Furniture giant IKEA has issued a warning over a defect in some of its dishwashers.
The problem - which affects appliances bought in 2014 or 2015 - can lead the dishwasher to stop working or an error message to appear on the display.
Customers who believe that their appliance may be affected can visit the IKEA website where by entering their article number (PNC) and serial number (SN) they can establish if their dishwasher requires a service.
The company describes the fault as a 'quality defect', saying that there is no safety risk and customers can continue to use the machine until the service has been performed.
A company spokesman said: "We thank you for your cooperation and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
