Questions over structure
Dispatch readers have been wondering what this structure is that has appeared close to the Hucknall bypass.
Ashfield District Council explained that it is in use on a temporary basis for the construction of a housing/cover for a fairground ride. The structure is currently being pieced together on wooden blocks with a crane to ensure it has been made to the correct dimensions and is not fixed to the ground.
Once completed the structure will be immediately dismantled and sent to London for the start of November 2013 where it will form part of the Capital’s Christmas celebrations.
