Pye Hill choir’s Jacksdale date

The Pye Hill and District Male Voice Choir is returning to its roots for its first concert of 2014 by performing in Jacksdale next month.

The choir has been based in the village for most of its life, using the Dale Club for rehearsals.

Now local residents will be able to hear the product of all that hard work at a concert being performed at CentrePoint Community Church on Franklin Road in Jacksdale on Saturday 8th February at 7.30 p.m.

The programme will have an emphasis on songs from the shows, and will include well-known numbers such as ‘Love Changes Everything’, ‘You Raise Me Up’, ‘Ain’t Misbehavin’,’ Moonlight Serenade’, ‘Chattanooga Choo Choo’ and ‘Unchained Melody’.

A number of solos will also be performed.

Entry is £5 on the door for adults and £3 for under 16s.
