Pupils have books signed by fantasy author

Author, Chris d’Lacey, is pictured here with Key Stage 2 pupils at Kingsway Primary School.

Chris, mostly known for his Last Dragon Chronicles series, signed books for the children.

They are currently having the first book in the series, The Fire Within, read to them.

He entertained Key Stage 2 pupils with stories from his childhood, about how he became an author and what had inspired him.

Originally born in Malta, he spent most of his life living in Leicester, until recently moving to Devon.

The author said he was looking forward to visiting Kingsway again when he releases a new series, The Wearle, next year.
