Pub says thank you staff at children’s diabetes service
The above photograph shows Dr Ursula Ngwu, consultant paediatrician at King’s Mill Hospital, left, receiving a £1,000 cheque for the Children’s Diabetes Service.
Also pictured are Tammy Jarvis and Sue Wright, second and third left, of the Ladybrook pub, who along with other staff and customers, helped raise the cash.
The gift was a thank you to the team at King’s Mill for their care and treatment of a five-year-old boy who has Type 1 Diabetes.
Type 1 diabetes affects the body’s glucose levels.
