It will be a peaceful protest and there is nothing political about it.

It is really confusing as to what is happening - we want to raise awareness - we love the park.

Some agreement has to be reached by the council and trustees to se the park kept for future generations.

It is a unique park with a bandstand an eight lane track and the football pitch.

There will be a big cyclo-cross event there on Saturday and a cross country event last week.

We love the park and it needs to stay open

“Berry Hill Park is the best open space in the whole of the Mansfield Urban District and should be there for everyone to continue to enjoy indefinitely .

“Anyone who feels strongly about what is currently occurring, please show your support.

The event is happening tomorrow at 9am outside the old UDM/CISWO Office car park on Berry Hill.
