Theft

Tim Jordan Davis, 26, of Park Avenue, Mansfield, admitted stealing spanners and a tyre weld from Asda worth £32, and failing to surrender to custody. He was given a community order with a 10-week curfew and made to pay £145 in costs;

Ricky Lee Butler, 30, of Lawrence Avenue, Kirkby, admitted stealing household items worth £25 from Tesco, chocolates worth almost £25 from McColl’s and damaging a window. He was jailed for 40 weeks, given a three-year criminal behaviour order and made to pay £80 in costs;

Michael David Shaun Jones, 31, of Carsic Road, Sutton, was found guilty of stealing a bicycle worth £450 and was given a community order, fined £50, made to pay £450 compensation to the victim and £200 in costs. The case was proved in his absence. He had previously admitted two charges of possessing amphetamine, failing to surrender to custody, and stealing soft drinks wroth £5 from Asda. He was fined an additional £5 for the theft.

Violence

David John Duncan, 22, of Jackson Terrace, Meden Vale, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour towards a female and was fined £120, made to pay £50 compensation and £105 in costs;

Russell Desmond Chambers, 34, of Hall Street, Mansfield, admitted possessing a stanley knife in public and was given 26 weeks’ jail, suspended for 12 months, and made to pay £160 in costs;

Christopher Sean Woolley, 27, of Big Barn Lane, Mansfield, admitted assaulting a female and a male and was given 10 weeks’ jail, suspended for 12 months, made to pay £350 compensation and £170 in costs;

Jake Willoughby, 21, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards two police officers and was jailed for 28 days and made to pay £80 in costs.

Drink Driving

Karl Richard Fisher, 27, of Searby Road, Sutton, admitted being behind the wheel of a BMW while having 58 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He was banned from driving for 15 months, fined £120 and made to pay £85 in costs;

Jamie Isobel Jones, 20, of Edwin Street, Sutton, admitted being behind the wheel of a Peugeot while having 78 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He was banned from driving for 18 months, fined £150 and made to pay £105 in costs;

Philip Humphries, 23, of Wilde Crescent, Selston, admitted failing to provide a breath test and failing to stop after an accident. He was jailed for 12 weeks for causing a crash, writing off two vehicles and fleeing from the scene. He was also banned from driving for 18 months and made to pay £80 costs;

Richard Gary Elleston, 24, of Pella Grove, Annesley, admitted being behind the wheel of a Vauxhall while having 52 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £600 and made to pay £145 in costs.

Motoring

David Daniel Steele, 29, of Harlow Street, Blidworth, was found to have used a mobile phone while driving a Vauxhall and was fined £220, given three penalty points and made to pay £107 in costs. The case was prove din his absence;

Adam Christopher Stapleton, 25, of Maltby Road, Mansfield, admitted driving a Peugeot at 60mph in a 30mph zone and was fined £80, given six penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs;

Christian Alexander John Stirland, 25, of Crow Hill Drive, Mansfield, admitted driving a Peugeot while using a mobile phone and was fined £145, given three penalty points and made to pay £105 in costs.

Elita Zvingule, 53, of Wood Street, Mansfield, admitted failing to act with due care by having 65 packets of Minsk cigarettes which were a dangerous product. She was jailed for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months and made to pay £780 in costs;
