Prescription drugs stolen at King’s Mill

A BATCH of potent prescription drugs has been stolen from a vehicle at King’s Mill car park.

The theft is believed to have taken place between 10am and noon on 27th September at King’s Mill when someone accessed a parked Suzuki Vitara.

The bottles and packets of drugs stolen were Morphine, Oramorph, Diazapam, Nitrizepam, Cyclizine injections, Codeine Phosphate, Digoxin, Furosemide, Enalapril and Simstatin.

The drugs are used to treat a variety of symptoms, including high blood pressure, excess fluid retention and anxiety.

Insp Carl Holland said: “These drugs are extremely dangerous. Taken incorrectly these drugs could be fatal and should not be taken without authority from a doctor.

“Anyone who finds them or who knows the whereabouts of this medication is asked to report it to us immediately.”
