Police warning after car thefts

A number of cars have been targeted with the windows being smashed and personal belongings being taken, including handbags.

Motorists are warned not to leave any valuables or personal possessions on display, even when only leaving the vehicle for a few minutes, and take care to secure all windows and doors when leaving the car. Also remember to remove items such as dash cams and sat navs.
