Following a spate of crimes, including shed burglaries, the police have stressed the importance of sharing details.

In a statement from Inspector Glenn Longden, he said: “We are hearing of a lot of chat relating to shed breaks in the Annesley and Kirkby Woodhouse areas, but apart from those mentioned above, these are not being reported.

“We must stress the importance of reporting these incidents to us, even if you think they are trivial.

“Without this information we cannot put in place patrols. It is also important that these reports are made as soon as possible after the incidents have taken place.”
