Police urge people to '˜check on friends' as they struggle to identify body found in park

Police are still looking to identify the body of a man who was found at a Nottinghamshire park, and are urging people to contact friends or relatives they have not heard from recently.

The body of the man was discovered just after 9.20am yesterday, Saturday, February 27, at Gedling Country Park.

The man’s death is still being treated as unexplained pending further enquiries.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 229 of 27 February.
