Police seek this woman in connection with cash theft

Police have released images of a woman they would like to speak in connection with a theft of cash from an ATM.

The theft happened at the East Midlands Designer Village at about 1.30pm on October 26.

A 63-year-old-man attempted to use the cash machines near the guest information area to withdraw a substantial amount of cash.

He thought they were not working, and walked away. However, money was dispensed and the next person to approach the machine took the money.

A Derbyshire police spokesperson said: "We would like to speak to the woman pictured, as we believe she may be able to help with our enquiries."

Call police on 101 and quote the reference number 18000519022 and the name of the officer in the case, PC Lauren Hartley, in any correspondence.
