Police pursuit through Hucknall ends in arrests

The police helicopter was seen flying overhead as a high volumne of police cars chased through the town.

“I was at the town’s Tesco store when I heard the helicopter and then saw several police cars flying past,” said one eye witness.

Another witness said they too saw a number of police cars travelling with lights and sirens through the town centre heading towards Bulwell.

A police spokesman confirmed the activity was a ‘police pursuit’.

“Following a police pusuit through Hucknall town centre, which included the force helicopter, five arrests have been made.

“This follows an incident in Kirkby. Enquiries are on-going.”
