Residents in Ironville had the chance to speak to their local Safer Neighbourhood policing team at a charity choir concert last week.

PCSO Miekel Miller and PCSO Paul Hubber greeted people as they came through the door at Christ Church on Friday, 24th October.

A special concert was held to raise money for Leonard Cheshire homes, which featured a performance from Derbyshire Constabulary Male Voice Choir.

PCSO Miller of the Somercotes and Riddings Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We were really pleased to be invited along to the concert as it was a great way for us to meet with local residents on an informal basis, and we were around before and after the event to speak to people about any concerns, or offer advice on safety and security.”

More than £200 was raised at the concert for Leonard Cheshire homes, a charity which provides support, respite and care for people with disabilities and their carers.
