Nottinghamshire police have arrested more than 23 people in a clampdown on users of Mamba in the town centre.
A police spokesman said: “For the last month Nottinghamshire Police together with our partnership agencies have been conducting an operation to address mamba use and rough sleeping in Mansfield town centre.
“The operation is aimed to help and support individuals effected by homelessness and mamba use and deal positively with individuals intent on committing ASB, dealing and using drugs.
“During this period we’ve made over 23 arrests and Mansfield District council and Nottinghamshire Police combined have issued and enforced over 60 directions to leave the town centre.
“The operation is ongoing and we’ll continue to work with those affected and help people get the support they need wherever we can.”
