Police are linking the thefts of a number of charity boxes in the north-east Derbyshire area.

Yesterday (March 8) between 1am-8am two charity boxes for Macmillan and Alzheimer’s Research UK were stolen after a break-in at Bolsover’s Hillstown Community Centre.

Meanwhile, a number of charity tins were stolen from Glapwell (plant) Nurseries on Glapwell Lane between 5pm on Tuesday (March 7) and 7am yesterday (March 8).
