Police investigating ‘man approaching children’ near Sutton school.

Several schools including Leamington Primary and and Ashfield School sent text messages warning parents of the man in a car allegedly approaching youngsters.

A spokeswoman for Nottinghamshire Police said; “We are continuing the investigations into the report.”

Parents have taken to social media to warn other parents in Sutton and Kirkby about the incident.

A Sutton mum-of-three was worried after receiving the text.

“I have two children at Sutton schools and one does walk home on her own, so as parents, we need to know. It’s better to be safe than sorry,” she told Chad.

She hopes others parents are made aware of the incident.
